"...Heralds of Peace Outreach"
The post-resurrection appearances of Jesus usually begin with the words: “Peace be with You.” Jesus also declared to his followers that he was giving them the kind of peace that the world cannot not provide them, which also implies the kind of peace that the world cannot take away from them (cf. John 14: 27). After speaking of peace, he treats the subject on which peace rests, namely, His death and Resurrection. At each point, he says “peace be with you,” he opens his palms to show the wounds made by the nails. The message behind the gesture is that peace does not come free of charge. It must be bought. The peace he offers is the peace he purchased with his blood.
Jesus did not come only to be the source of our peace; he has also mandated his followers to become agents of peace. In the beatitudes, he says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God (Matthew 5:9).” Bearing this in mind, De Heralds of Peace Outreach, relying on the power of the Holy Spirit, has accepted this mandate to become an agent of peace in the world. Knowing that peace does not come free of charge, the NGO is committed to announce peace through music, reflections, daily nuggets, homilies, scholarships, etc. De Heralds of Peace Outreach is a platform that has already promoted many upcoming Christian artists. May the peace of Christ be with you as you identify with this NGO.
